Laura’s new Edinburgh show ‘The Owl of Steven’ has been picked by Dominic Maxwell in The Times as one of the 13 shows you need to book for at this years Edinburgh Festival.

“Five years ago Solon came from nowhere to be the last-ever winner of the Perrier Award. Her belated follow-up last year, Rabbit Faced Story Soup, showed that this was no fluke: Solon is simply one of the most accurate and original character comics of the past decade. Few writers can mint such crafty one-liners; few performers can sell them so well, with so little spurious flash.
